What happens if I revoke a codicil in Texas?

In general, under Texas law, if a codicil is revoked, the original will is reinstated as if the codicil never existed. A codicil can be revoked in much the same manner as a will - it can be destroyed, cancelled or have another executed writing that revokes it.

If you need a College Station Texas estate planning attorney to help draft a codicil to your will, please contact Peterson Law Group.
