Kassi Horner Participates in Advanced Family Law Course

Kassi Horner, an attorney with Peterson Law Group, recently participated in the Advanced Family Law Course offered by the State Bar of Texas.  She attended sessions related to the use and defense of drug testing in child custody cases and the effect of intimate partner abuse on children.  In addition, Horner focused on difficult property issues that surface in divorce cases, including the characterization of assets, valuation of businesses, tricky retirement issues, and dividing deferred compensation plans.
